Dennis M. Minori, D.C.

October 29, 1953 - December 12, 2015

Dennis M. Minori, DC., 62, of Claysburg passed away unexpectedly on Saturday Dec. 12, 2015. He was born in Altoona son of the late Dante and Dolores (Vittori) Minori. He married Gloria Ciampoli in 1979.

Surviving is his loving wife of 36 years. Four Children: Dr. Joshua Minori of Chicago, Il., Jonathan (Erica) Minori of Portland, Or., Denielle Minori of Claysburg and Jared Minori of Selinsgrove. He is also survived by Four Siblings: Diana(Robert) Blazevich, Linda(Terry) Bannon, Rita(Denny) Rossman, and David (Debi) Minori.

Dennis was a 1971 graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School, a 1978 graduate of Mount Aloysius College of Nursing, and a 1981 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic.

He was founder and operator of Minori Chiropractic for 33 years.

Dennis was past president of the Brian Injury Association of Pennsylvania, He was a former board member of the Bellwood-Antis School District, and was Director of the Brain Injury Outreach and Support Program of the Center for Independent Living of South Central Pennsylvania.

Dennis' life was centered on his children, family and friends. Denny touched the lives of so many people with his talents and abilities. His works for the Brain Injury Association of Pa were endless and impacted countless lives and families across the Commonwealth. As Director of Brain Injury Outreach and Support for the Center for Independent Living of South Central PA his passion and commitment touched the lives of many in central PA.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Bellwood. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made payable to CILSCPA (Center for Independent Living of South Central PA) and sent to CILSCPA, 2900 Beale Ave, Suite 118, Altoona, Pa 16601.
