Lucy M. Forlina

April 17, 1928 – Feb. 4 ,2016

Lucy M. Forlina, 87, of Altoona passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Naimo) Gentilcore. She married Anthony C. Forlina Sr. on October 15, 1947 and he passed away on June 29, 2002.

Surviving are her three loving sons: Anthony Jr and wife Judy and their children Angela and Andrea; Jeffery and wife Beth and their children Heather, Ryan, and Kristy; William and wife Stacey and their children William Jr., Lisa, and Eric; Her sister, Mary Grace Campanaro. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Gentilcore and her sister Angela Schilling.

Lucy retired from Forlina's Restaurant as a waitress and had previously worked at Gino's Restaurant and the Coffee Cup.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic ChurchLucy enjoyed playing Bingo, Cards, and taking trips to Casinos. She especially loved spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6pm on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at the Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Monday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal prayers will be held at Calvary Cemetery. In memory of Lucy the family wishes that donations be given to Garvey Manor Nursing Home 1037- S. Logan Blvd Hollidaysburg, Pa 16648.
