Albert J. Spiegel, 57, of Altoona, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Jersey City, N.J. son of the late Kenneth Spiegel and Phyllis (Cherry). He married Clare Koetzner on July 23, 1986.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 29 years. Three daughters: Lauren M. Spiegel and Fiance Brian Stevens of West Virginia, and Nicole A. and Michelle O. Spiegel at home. He is also survived by his mother Phyllis; Two sisters: Nancy Michon(Ted) and Cheryl Rivera(Nick); Four Brothers: Ken(Rose), Ed(Pat), Dan(Doreen), and Peter(Dawn) all of New Jersey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was currently employed at the Walmart in East Freedom where he was an overnight stock clerk.

Albert enjoyed spending time with his family.

Family and f riends will be received from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday March . 1 7 , 201 6 at the Santella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30am, Friday at the funeral home.
