Angelina V. "Ann" Wood, 88, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Emilio and Mary (Laraia) Jannetta.

She is survived by a brother, Richard (Carol) Jannetta; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Victoria Ann; a sister, Jane Lepore; and four brothers: Dennis, Edward, Phillip and Thomas Jannetta.

Angelina was a 1949 graduate of Altoona High School. She worked many years at Gables, Boyers and Roaring River Mills, as a store clerk.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Angelina enjoyed reading, sewing and going out to eat with her friends.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at Santella Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
