She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Gesumina (Carino) Caso. She married John T. Lawson, who preceded her in death July 30, 2012.

Surviving are two daughters: Kathleen Saller of Altoona and Patricia Saletnik (Barry) of Bellemeade; five grandchildren: Melissa Saller, Kristan Saller-Neely (Tim), Matthew (Kellie) Litz, Mark (Andrea) Litz and Amanda Litz; three great-grandchildren: Madalyn, Hannah and Ella; a brother, Anthony (Nancy) Caso; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by an infant great-granddaughter, Hailey; two sisters: Rose Robertson and Mary Parson; and three brothers: Frank, Domenic and A. Joseph Caso.

Angeline was a 1942 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired from Veeder-Root as an assembler after 31 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, and a former member of the Senior Bowling League. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling and gardening.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
