She was born in Altoona, daughter of Edward and Maxine (Huber) Brown. She was married to the late Vincent Kimmel. Surviving are two daughters: Karen and her son Damian and Christy(Terry) and their son Deacon; She is also survived by her loving dog Buddy.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
