Anna Marie Arnsparger, 89, Altoona, passed away Monday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of James and Catherine (Tanneyhill) Balasco. She married Walter E. Arnsparger, and he preceded her in death April 1, 2005.

Surviving are a son, John; two grandchildren; a great-grandson; and a sister, Helen Dawson of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Fred and Walter II; and a brother, Paul.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 18, 2016, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
