Anna M. Schroeder, 83, Altoona, passed away peacefully on Sunday at The Village at Morrisons Cove.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen (Dave) Kiser of Altoona; a son, Dr. William (Denyel) Schroeder of Hollidaysburg; three grandchildren: Kara (Jason) Frederick, Nicole Kiser and Brandy Schroeder; and a great-grandson, Carson Frederick.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Ciccarella; and a sister, Mary Ciccarella.

Anna was a 1952 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School. She worked as a legal secretary and, in her later years, enjoyed being a homemaker.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. She loved Broadway shows, and she had a strong faith toward Jesus and a loving devotion to her family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, March 7, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
