Beatrice (Branda) Schorsch, 102, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday, , at Brookdale Senior Living in Margate, Fla.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephina Branda.

Surviving are two daughters; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher.

She graduated from Altoona High School and then from Juniata College, where she studied foods and nutrition. Before she married, she worked as a dietitian and instructor in nutrition for nursing students in several hospitals.

Beatrice will be interred at St. Mary's Cemetery, Altoona, along with her husband. Local arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona.
