Bernadette L. "Bernie" Mueller, 70, passed away Thursday at Maybrook Hills Health and

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Joseph and Lorraine (Estright) Mueller.

Surviving are two nieces: Darlene Mueller and Christine Mueller; and a nephew, Anthony Mueller, all of Altoona; and a good friend, Carol Branda of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Melvin Mueller; and a sister-in-law, Mary (Gill) Mueller.

Bernadette was a 1965 honors graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle High School. She retired from Altoona Hospital, with 39 years of service as a dietician assistant.

Bernadette was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. She enjoyed traveling, reading and her pet dog companions, Snooky and Sadie Rose.

Friends will be received from 9:30 to the 10:30 a.m. funeral Mass Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
