Chris A. Baldessaro, 54, East Freedom, passed away May 7, 2015, at his home.

He was born in Altoona, son of Anthony and Cecilia (Carnicella) Baldessaro.

Surviving are his loving wife, Sande; two sons: Brian "Raco" and wife, Ashley, of Johnstown and Chris Jr. of Altoona; their mother, Patty Moore; three grandchildren: Bella, McKenzie and Colton; a sister, Carla of Altoona; and a brother, Mark of Altoona.

Chris was a 1978 graduate of Altoona Area High School and the owner of Baldy's Bait and Tackle Shop in Newry. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, horseback riding and being outdoors.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Santella Funeral Home, where a memorial service will be held at 6 p.m.
