Christine A. (DeGennaro) Wills, 89, Altoona, passed away Thursday, surrounded by her

She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of Giustino and Magaret (Sicone) DiMonica DeGennaro. She married James C. Wills, who died Jan. 27, 2012.

Surviving are three children: Robin D. Bast of Manassas, Va., Clarence P. Corle Jr., of Culpepper, Va., and Jack D. Corle of Altoona; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters: Faye Dodson, Mary Louise Direnzo, Jeannie DeGennaro and June Alice Osmolinski; five brothers: John, Gustine "Gus," James, Joseph and Robert DeGennaro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Christine graduated from Altoona High School and Campbell Business College, New Bedford, Mass. She was an accountant.

Christine was an avid reader. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2017, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Father Ron Osinski, officiating. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions in memory of Christine be given to Vietnam Veterans of America, in care of Larry English, 230 Allen Lane, Duncansville, PA 16635.
