She was born in Altoona, daughter of Kim Marie Lamertina and Joseph L. Langer. She was reared by her father figure, Robert "Buzz" Hoover Jr.

Surviving are her mother; her father figure; her father; a daughter: Billie Rae Burket; a son: Braydon Skyler Strunk; a sister, Jessica Ann Langer; a grandmother, Joyce Lamertina; a stepsister, Christine Hoover; and a nephew, Owen Rockne Miller.

She was preceded in death by a grandfather, William Lamertina Sr.; and an uncle, William Lamertina Jr.

Crystal was a graduate of Altoona Area High School. She worked at Valley View Nursing Home as an administrative assistant and enjoyed taking care of her family.

Crystal was loved so much. Her family will carry this loss in their hearts for the rest of their lives, and she will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received from 4 to the 7 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015, at Santella Funeral Home, by Pastor Jon Hommer. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
