She was born in Altoona, daughter of Phyllis (Over) Weber and the late Thomas Weber.

She is survived by her mother; husband, Gerard "Jar" Nale; children: Matthew, Brendon, Brittney and their father, Matthew Burns; as well as stepchildren: Maggie Shawley and husband, John, and Chelsea Nale; seven grandchildren; a brother, Tom; and sisters: Terry, Julie and Stacey.

Cyndy was a 1974 graduate of Altoona Area High School, had operated Pleasant Valley Day Care for 25 years, and most recently worked at CVS.

Cyndy will be forever remembered for her love of children, her always smiling face, her bubbly personality, her willingness to help anyone, and her ability to brighten up a room by merely walking in.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, 2015, at Santella Funeral Home, 1106 Eighth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be at Calvary Mausoleum.
