Donald E. Lear, 64, Altoona, died Friday at home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Helen (Musselman) Lear. Surviving are his wife, Linda (Mort) Lear; four children: Donna Jean Lear, Brittany Leaper, David P. Lear and Donny Leaper; and a brother, Bill Lear. He was preceded in death by a son, James. Donald was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. At the request of the deceased, there will be no service. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona.
