Elizabeth "Betty" Galasso, 90, Golden LivingCenter-Hillview, passed away Saturday at the center.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of James and Mary (Conner) Boland. She married Michael A. Galasso on Oct. 16, 1971, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2007.

Surviving are two daughters: Bonnett Saussol of Sonora, Calif., and Shelby Saussol in Colorado; two grandchildren: Bryan Moffit in Virginia and Zachary Mueller in Arizona; three great-grandchildren: Lydia, Alex and Ronan; a sister, Peggy Ott in Florida; two nieces; a nephew; and a godson.

Betty was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and retired from SKF. She was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and Golden Nuggets, and she enjoyed bowling and bingo.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, May 23, 2015, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona. Committal will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
