Surviving are a sister, Yolonda (Vince) Bumann of Altoona; a brother, Victor (Dorothy) Furgione of Duncansville; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a close companion, Annette A. Jay.

He was preceded in death by four sisters: Amelia Sinisi, Ann Smith, Louise Cook and Theresa Verbonitz; and a brother, Torino Furgione.

Eugene was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School and he attended Altoona Business School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired as a supervisor from Conrail. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Altoona, and he enjoyed dancing.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no service. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona.
