Francesco "Frank" Frucella, 84, Ebensburg, formerly of

He was born in Socorso Messina, Sicily, the son of the late Giuseppe and Caterina (Morina) Frucella. He married Luciana Stanissich, and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2017.

Surviving are a daughter, Caterina Palazzo; four grandchildren: Regina, Ray, Ralph and Rosetta; three great-grandchildren: Maria, Angela and Carmine; five siblings: Sara, Anna, Maria, Nick, and Santina; and many nieces and nephews.

Frank immigrated to the United States in 1968 and was a successful and talented barber, who owned his own shop for many years in Altoona, until his retirement.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, and a life member of the Buccinese Society.

He was an avid hunter and sportsman, and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Friends will be received from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 , at Santella Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
