Gary Alan Moyer's Obituary
Gary Alan Moyer, 62, Altoona, passed away Friday at his home.
He was born in Washington, D.C., son of the late Moffett and Shirley (Streeks) Moyer.
Surviving are his former wife, Niki Pellegrine; two sons: Rob Burkey and wife, Chris, and Rue Moyer and wife, Gabree; four grandchildren: Michael, Jordyn and Nicholas Burkey and Rune Moyer; and three sisters: Kathy Moyer, Judy Gargan and Mary Cunningham.
Gary served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a private. He had previously worked as an HVAC pipefitter for Madden Contracting.
Gary was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg, and the Swiss Club. He was a classic car enthusiast and enjoyed NASCAR racing and building model cars.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, by Pastor Daren Ritchey. Committal will take place at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
