She was born in Lilly, daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie (Martino) Bellizia. On Sept. 6, 1958, she married Frank J. Dunio Sr. and he preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 2002.

Surviving are a daughter, Gina Dunio; four grandchildren: Justin (Michelle) Dunio, Sheena Dunio, Chelsea (Kaitlin) Gibbons and Travis (Lauren) Gibbons; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas (Carole) Bellizia; and many nieces and nephews whom loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by a son, Frank J. Dunio Jr.; three sisters: Viola Orlando, Isabelle Suchta and Lucille Bellizia; and a brother, Anthony Bellizia Jr.

Gloria was a 1947 graduate of Altoona Catholic High School and later retired as an assembler from Boyer Candy with 23 years of service.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

Gloria was an avid Steelers fan. She enjoyed casino trips and spending quality time with her family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2020, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
