Gloria C. Oblinger, 91, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Joseph and Madeline (Bricca) Rodriguez.

Surviving are a son, Craig Marasco of Hollidaysburg; a granddaughter, Desiree Thompson-Boyle (Timothy); two great-grandchildren: Madalyn and Joseph Thompson; a great-great-grandchild, Evelyn Thompson; a sister, Denise Woomer; a brother, Dennis Rodriguez (Grace); a special nephew, Johnny Woomer and his family; and her two close cousins: Karen and Kenny.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald.

Gloria retired from SKF in 1985 after 31 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.

She enjoyed roller skating, yard sales and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 3, 2018, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
