He was born in Altoona, son of Augustus and Catherine Maccinile. He married Georgette Dodson, who preceded him in death on Oct. 12, 2014.

Surviving are a daughter, Karen Nardozza (Danny) in Florida; and a son, Steve Maccinile of Altoona, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Antoinette Weidel; and a brother, Paul Maccinile.

Haley was a graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a combat medical technician and was awarded four Bronze Stars. He was a salesman for D & M Chrysler for over 50 years and a member of the Bavarian Aid Society.

He enjoyed bicycling on the Rails to Trails and attending Daytona 500 races every year.

6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 , at Santella Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 , the Rev. Ron Osinski officiating.

Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
