Helen M. Rita,93 of Altoona passed away Wednesday September 16, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by two sons: Albert Jr. and wife Jane of Johnstown and John A. and wife Cindy of Altoona. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Louis, her sister Diana, and his brothers Henry and John

Helen was a graduate of Altoona High School. She had previously worked as manager of the Gallery Apartments.

Helen was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. She enjoyed writing and scrap booking.

Friends will be received from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday September 20, 2015 at the Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Monday Sep. 21, 2015 at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Committal at Calvary Cemetery. In memory of Helen donations can be made to St. Mark's Catholic Church.
