Janet M. Wendt, 74, Altoona, died unexpectedly Monday at UPMC Altoona.

Surviving are six children: Crystal, Eddie, Danny, Mike, Dave and Bill; four sisters: Nancy, Judy, Vera and Shirley; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Teddy and a Grandson Michael.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 , at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. In memory of Janet the family wishes that donations be made to the funeral home or please to help pay for funeral expenses.
