Judith A. "Judy" Caputo, 76, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at her residence.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late David and Loretta (Finochio) Pompa. She married Atillio Dan Caputo, and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1997.

Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia M. Snyder of Altoona; a son, David M. Caputo of Altoona; two grandsons: John Robert (Chelsey) Snyder of Parkesburg, W.Va., and Jeremy A. Snyder of Altoona; and a brother, Dennis Pompa and wife, Lana, of Dothan, Ala.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Loretta Kay Richards.

Judith was a graduate of Altoona High School and Altoona Vocational Technical School's LPN program. She retired as a licensed practical nurse for Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona, and Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona.
