Louis A. Vecere Ii's Obituary
Louis A. Vecere II, 71, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Louis and Eunice (Bigelow) Vecere. He was married to Barbara Nardella who preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 2016.
Surviving are a son, Erik Vecere and fiancee, Camellia Burns, of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Angela Coleman and husband, Tom, of Tyrone; and four grandchildren: Alexa Rogers, Katelyn Vecere, Aiden Coleman and A.J. Coleman.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Parris Vecere.
Louis graduated from Altoona High School and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He retired as a sales representative from the Stevens Co.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, collecting various collectables, and he was a state champion in silhouette handgun shooting.
Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
