Luciana Frucella, 81, Altoona, passed away Saturday at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.

She was born in Trieste, Italy, daughter of Matteo and Caterina Stanissich. She married Francesco "Frank" Frucella.

Surviving are her husband, Frank; and a stepdaughter, Caterina.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruno.

She graduated from high school in Trieste, Italy, and worked at Puritan Sportswear. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Mausoleum.
