Surviving are two daughters: Jennie Jacobs and husband, George, of Easton and Joey Jackson and husband, Steve, of Altoona; a grandson, Aaron Jacobs in North Carolina; a granddaughter, Lexi Jackson of Altoona; and two brothers: Ron and Jim Gosnell, both of Altoona.

Martha retired from the Altoona Area School District as the Wright Elementary School cafeteria manager.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Sept. 22, 2015, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, by Pastor Mary Emery.

Donations in memory of Martha may be made to the local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
