Patricia A. Katsetos, 76, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at Conemaugh Nason Medical

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harold and Alverda (Shoemaker) Merritt. She married Paul J. Katsetos, who preceded her in death on July 9, 1989.

Surviving are her longtime companion, Ronald Spencer; two daughters: Christine (Michael) Parsons of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Janice (Preston) Hummer of Stafford, Va.; five grandchildren: Jennyfer Walker, Paul Hummer, Stephanie Reyes, Melissa Grier and Aubrey Hummer; five great-grandchildren: Grayson, Gracelyn, Kaylee, Gabbi and Sadie; and a sister, Donna (Ken) Delozier.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Olivio.

Patricia was a graduate of Altoona High School and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday,

Oct. 13, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, 1106 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
