He was born in Gallitzin, son of the late Patsy Sr. and Victoria (Debrowalski) Sorichetti. On Jan. 11, 1962, he married Carol A. Batrus.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years; a daughter, Denise Sorichetti of Altoona; a son, Thomas (Sherry) Sorichetti of Halifax; six grandchildren: Heather (Matt) Wicks, Courtney (John) Seidel, Kelsey Sorichetti (T.J.), Michael (An'licia) Sinisi, Kylee Sorichetti (Chris) and Kassidy Sorichetti; six great-grandchildren: Reagan, Avery, Aurora, Charlotte, Harper and Jase; a sister, Roseann (Bill) Murray in Ohio; a brother, Robert Sorichetti of Lilly; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers: Alphonse "Dew" and Anthony "Chumpa."

Patsy was a graduate of Gallitzin High School. He retired from the Penn Jacobson Company and previously worked at the Altoona Shoe Factory.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.

Patsy enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing pool. He especially enjoyed being with his family during their sporting events and his dog, Kody.

Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
