He was born in Altoona, son of the late Joseph F. and Millie M. (Rubine) Haddock. He married Susan Caldwell on Oct. 8, 1988.

Surviving are his wife; two children: Michelle Haddock and Anthony Dively, both of Altoona; a sister, Mary Ann Govzd of Altoona; an uncle, Raymond Govzd of Windber; and a special friend, Betty Friedenberger, who was like his second mother.

Ray was a 1980 graduate of Altoona Area High School and retired from the Ramada Inn. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, where he served as a Eucharistic minister and festival helper. He enjoyed playing bingo and attending football and basketball games.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.

In memory of Ray, contributions may be given to the Mount Carmel Restoration Fund.
