Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years; a daughter, Crystal Mills (Jamie); a son: Richard E. Sinisi; five grandchildren; his mother; and a sister, Anna Hughes (John).

He was preceded in death by his father, Americo, and an infant sister, Brenda Lee.

Richard was a 1975 graduate of Altoona Area High School and joined the U.S. Navy, where he served as a Boatswains Mate 3rd Class. He then received an associate degree in accounting from the Altoona School of Commerce.

He was currently employed at the Vitro Co., where he worked as a laborer, and he previously worked at Trane Manufacturing as a supervisor until its closure.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2019, at Santella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, with full military honors.
