Surviving are a sister, Nancy in Georgia; a brother, David and wife, Beverly, in Texas; cousins: Linda Points in Arizona and Donald Points of Pittsburgh; a close companion, Billy Stevens; and many close friends.

Sally was a 1974 graduate of Altoona Area High School. She was employed as a secretary for Penn Public Truck and Equipment Co. and had previously worked for Zimmerman Excavating Co. and as a bank teller at Mellon Bank. She was a member of Wehnwood United Methodist Church.

Sally enjoyed gardening and was an avid sports fan of Penn State, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, and NASCAR. She also was a lover of animals.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015, at Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home, 1520 Fourth St., Altoona. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534 Fourth St., Altoona, Pastor Evelyn Madison officiating. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
