She was born in Altoona, daughter of Edwin C. and Margaret A. (Wolford) Hatch. She married Andrew E. Quirin Jr. on Sept. 30, 1967, at St. Mark's Catholic Church.

Surviving are her loving husband of 47 years; two daughters: Jennifer L. Quirin and Laurie S. Pattie; two sons: Andrew R. "Buck" and Andrew E. "Zeke"; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three brothers: Ned Hatch, Don Hatch and Nick Boyles.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary Reed.

Susan was a graduate of Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic High School. She had been employed at the Bon-Ton, Sylvania, Mount Carmel School Bingo Association and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed books, gardening, her cats and spending time with her family.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or service.
