Victor J. Furgione, 92, Duncansville, passed away Wednesday at his residence.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Domenic and Domenica (Suriano) Furgione.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Long) Trone; her three children; a sister, Yolanda (Vince) Bumann of Altoona; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters: Amelia Sinisi, Ann Smith, Louise Cook and Theresa Verbonitz; and two brothers: Torino and Eugene Furgione.

Victor was a 1943 graduate of Altoona High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and he retired as a supervisor for Conrail.

He was a member of the VFW Post, and he enjoyed traveling and golf.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no service. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home, Altoona.
