Yolanda M. Pacifico, 88, Altoona, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.

Surviving are a daughter, Cindy Fortenbaugh and husband, Mike; a son, Leonard D. Pacifico Jr.; two grandchildren: Gregg Douglas and Brandon D. Douglas; two great-grandchildren: Audrey and Allissa Douglas; two sisters: Ann Hale and husband, Raymon, and Maria Menta; and a brother, Tony Gioiosa and wife, Louise.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan M. Pacifico; and two brothers: Mario and Albert Gioiosa.

Yolanda was a 1948 graduate of Altoona High School. She worked as a clerk for Pacifico Bakery, where she was known as "Linda."

She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona, and the former San Donato Society. She loved her pet cats and enjoyed cooking, traveling and reading.

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona.
