Adaline C. Cassarly, 92, of Garvey Manor Hollidaysburg, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Zerbee and Cora (Baughman) Ivory. On June 27, 1953, she married Paul G. Cassarly and he preceded her in death on May 4, 2016.
Surviving are nine children: Bob Cassarly, Linda Cassarly, Laurie Beckel, Cheri Tittler, and Marianne Sinisi, all of Altoona, Debra Marthinsen and Patricia Cassarly, both of North Carolina, and Tom and Bill Cassarly both of Gainesville, Fla.; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother Leo F. Ivory of Ashville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph E. Ivory, and sister, Mary Alice Scoboria
Adaline was a 1946 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution where she was awarded for her many hours of volunteer work. She was also a member of the Blair County Genealogical Society where she served as librarian, the Cambria County Historical Society, and the Descendants of Civil War Veterans.
She was also a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at the Santella Funeral Home where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
