Alfred DeAntonis Obituary

May 5, 1925 -Dec. 1, 2014

Alfred M. DeAntonis, 89, Altoona, passed away Monday at Valley View Health and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born in Altoona, son of Alfred and Mary (Saclaro) DeAntonis.

Surviving are a sister, Bettina "Betty" DeAntonis, with whom he resided; and nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John R.; and a sister, Dorothy Camagna.

Alfred retired from Conrail as a sheet metal worker with 27 years of service. He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and also belonged to the Bavarian Aid Society and Sylvan Hills Golf Club.

Friends are invited to the noon funeral service on Friday, Dec. 5, 2014, at Santella Funeral Home. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
