Andrew E. Quirin Jr.

Andrew E. Quirin, Jr., 83 of Altoona, Pennsylvania entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 14, 2025 at his home surrounded by his family.

Andrew was born on January 1, 1942 in Altoona, PA., to the late Ann (Fronauer) and the late Andrew E. Quirin, Sr.

In addition to his parents, Andrew is preceded in death by the love of his life, Susan M. (Hatch) Quirin whom he married at St. Marks Catholic Church on September 30, 1967 as well as a brother Henry Quirin, a sister Maryann Tanneyhill and a grandson, Zachary Reed.

Andrew is survived by his loving children; Laurie S. (Jim) Pattie, Andrew R. Quirin, Jennifer (Jason) Quirin, and Andrew “Zeke” (Kaitlin) Quirin, all of Altoona, PA., his siblings; Carol Moore, Gloria Talasky, Lorriane (Bill) Brutsche, and Raymond (Vera) Quirin, his grandchildren; Mandy, Ashley, Nathan, Sarah and Anna, and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Andrew went to Altoona Area High School and shortly after served our country as a United States Marine. After the marines he specialized in being a heavy equipment operator. Andrew was a man of faith and the main priority in life was to be a provider for his family. He loved his family as well as animals, most important to him, being his cats.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Grandview Cemetery.
