July 12, 1940 - March 22, 2020
Ann Petrogallo, 79, of Hollidaysburg, passed away early Sunday morning
at UPMC Altoona with family by her side. She was born in Altoona,
daughter of the late Guy and Mary (Monti) Petrogallo.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Maria Gochenauer and two
brothers, Joseph and Anthony. She had a sister, Sylvia. Ann also left
behind a housemate, Deborah McGuire.
Ann had many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and were part of
her life. Regardless of distance, they held her closely in their hearts.
A very special thanks will never be enough to her many loyal and loving
care givers, especially Jessica Buchanan. Each and every day, year in and
year out, they selflessly attended to Ann's every need. They ensured
Ann's life was experienced to the fullest measure. Both recent and former
caregivers held a special place not only in Ann's heart, but especially in
the heart of Ann's Guardian. Words cannot begin to express the family's
gratitude and appreciation for their tireless work. They are priceless.
Due to the current extraordinary times, Ann's internment was privately
held at Calvary Cemetery. She was buried alongside her parents. A
celebration of her life will be held at a future date.
Ann was special. She was valued. She was loved. She will be missed.
