Anthony A. M. Mueller

Anthony A. M. Mueller, 55, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, surrounded by family and friends after a lifetime of illness. He was born in Altoona and was the beloved son of Mary (Gill) and Melvin Mueller who preceded him in death and brother of Darlene and Christine. He was also preceded in death by his sister Melody Ann (in infancy), paternal great grandmother, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and aunts and uncles who he loved dearly.

Anthony was a 1988 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He worked at Alaskaland and BTR Enterprise. He loved his many cats and dogs, most recently his best friend Aggie, who was able to come brighten his days in the hospital. Among many things, Anthony was an avid fan of old TV shows and movies, especially Star Wars and Star Trek, and Eighties music, loved a good pepperoni pizza and diet Pepsi and peanut M and M’s, and went all out decorating for Halloween and Christmas.

He was courageous, strong, and stoic in enduring a lifetime of health challenges with a rare disease, while gracing so many others with his kindness and laughter.

Friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. funeral home service on Saturday, December 21, 2024 in the Santella Funeral Home. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
