Barbara A. (Kitt) White

Barbara A. White, 63, of Altoona passed away peacefully at UPMC Altoona after a prolonged illness. 

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Mary Jane (Zangrilli) Kitt and the late Bernard Kitt. On June 4, 1994, she married Jack White.

Surviving are her loving husband of almost 29 years, Jack; her mother, Mary Jane (Zangrilli) Kitt; her sister, Bonnie L. Schorner (Matt Rancourt); her brother, Bernard E. Kitt Jr. (MJ Coon-Kitt); and other family and friends.

Barbara was a 1977 graduate of Altoona High School and graduated with perfect attendance from the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center for business management. She was a majorette at Keith Junior High and Altoona High School. 

She enjoyed spending time with her pets and family.

Barbara was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8, in the Santella Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be celebrated following the visitation at 10:30  a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery.
