Barry F. Singleton, 78, Altoona, passed away Friday morning at his home. He was born in Pittsburgh, son of the late Fred and Muriel (Lewin) Singleton. He later married Mary J. Grindle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years; a daughter, Christine; and a sister, Nancy Provost, of N.C.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Diane Masnick, Carol Fuchs; and a brother-in-law, R. Thomas, whom he raised.
Barry attended the NYC School of Design. He worked as an auto mechanic at Condon’s Auto Repair.
He also served in the United States Army Reserves.
Barry enjoyed football, old cars, and politics.
At the request of the family, there will be no service. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
