Obituary

Carlos Arcurio, 56, of Altoona, formerly of Natrona Heights, passed away January 25, 2022 from complications arising from recent heart surgery.

A 1983 graduate of Highlands High School, and a graduate of Pittsburgh Technical Training School, he was a welder by trade, and worked as one for many years. He worked the last 9 years as a driver for Pyramid Health Care and White Deer Run. He enjoyed helping people find their right path in life and was a mentor to many.

A simple man who loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, trapping and collecting fishing rods and reels, he had a quick sense of humor and a hardy laugh.

He is survived by many family and friends who loved him, he will be deeply missed.

Per his wishes, he was cremated, and will be taken to the river, mountains and forests. “For you were made from dust and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)

Arrangements were entrusted to the Santella Funeral Home.
