Carole A. (Tomasits) Zonfrilli

Carole A. Zonfrilli, 86, of Altoona, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.

Carole was born in Pittsburgh, PA on October 18, 1938 to the late Ferdinand and Rita Mae (O’ Conner) Tomasits.

In addition to her parents, Carole is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynn K. Strong; and a brother, Kenneth J. Tomasits.

Carole is survived by the love of her life, Donald A. Zonfrilli, whom she married on May 10, 1985 in Altoona; her children: Michael K. Reltz, Nicole Wilt, of Altoona and Jamie Zonfrilli; her grandchildren; Mikayla, Michael, Mary, Alex, Kelsey and Tanner; and her great grandchildren: Aiden, Jackson and Meredith.

Carole was Catholic by faith and was a member at St. Rose of Lima Church in Altoona. Carole dedicated herself to helping others with a career in the medical field, and in her free time, really enjoyed reading and gardening.

Friends will be received at the 10am funeral Mass on Friday, April 4, 2025 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 5519 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be donated in Carole’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN., 38105
