Carter James Hart

Carter James Hart, 4months, passed away Tuesday Oct. 3, 2023 at home in the arms of his mother. He was born in Altoona, son of Danielle Hart and Cody Drass.

He is survived by his loving parents; maternal grandparents, Don and Roxanne Hart; paternal grandparents, Andy and Kristen Maher; great-grandparent, Jack Flude; uncles, Matthew Hart (Ally Harpster) and Jesse Daugherty; very special great-aunt and uncle: Linda Hart and Dave Naperkoski; a very special friend and “grammy,” Lisa Orsino; and special cousins: Sandie, Butch, Nancy, Mary Elizabeth and Joey McCulloch.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents: Grace and John Franks, Virginia and Ron Hart, and Georgianna Flude. 

Carter enjoyed playing with his mommy and daddy, while learning to crawl and explore the world around him. At only two months old, he was already rolling over and was trying to crawl. He was advanced far beyond his age. His nonstop baby talk brought so much joy to us and we will forever remember the sound of his precious voice.  

Our little “King Carter,” you were the most proper and perfect little man. We will forever cherish every second that was spent with you from the moment you were born. Rest in paradise our sweet angel. Until we meet again.  

Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2023, at Santella Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held following the visitation at 6 p.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
