Concetta Piccerillo

Concetta Piccerillo, 92, Altoona, passed away Saturday at her residence.

She was born in Salerno, Italy, daughter of the late Alfonso and Lucy (Catina) Giacantino. On April 26, 1958, she married Aldo Piccerillo, and he preceded her in death on July 19, 2018.

Surviving are a daughter, Victoria Piccerillo (Thomas Kunrod) of Ebensburg; two sons: Robert (Jennifer) Piccerillo in Maryland and Richard Piccerillo of Altoona; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Concetta was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, shopping and spending time with her friends and family.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018, at Santella Funeral Home, Altoona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
