Donald A. Bidoli, 82, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Albert and Anita (Yeager) Bidoli. He later married Judy A. Rainelli at Sacred Heart Church on June 2, 1962. They met in 2nd and 3rd grade at Sacred Heart School and grew up together.
Surviving, along with his wife of 59 years, are daughters: Dawn (Michael) Noonan and children, Jay and Lynlee, Sherry (JK) Johnson, and Karen (Matt) Lechner and son, Liam.
Special thanks to Chris and Amanda Baronner and children, Jace and Trenton. Thank you also to his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Donnie graduated from Altoona High School in 1958. He then entered the United States Coast Guard for 4 years. He was the previous owner of Altoona Door Company for 20 years.
His hobbies included his love of cars, going to the swap meets and his yearly trip to Carlisle Car Show.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home.
