Donald P. Houck, 52, Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Daniel G. Sr. and Donna O. (Williams) Houck.
He is survived by two sisters: Denise Gerlach and Dawna Walker; three brothers: Harry, Craig, and Edward Houck; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by two brothers: Daniel G. Jr. and Jeffrey; and two nephews: Craig Jr. and Bradley Houck.
Donald was a 1987 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. He was the owner and operator of Suburban Lawn Care since 1986 and also a newspaper carrier for the Altoona Mirror for the last 40 years.
He enjoyed playing the guitar and banjo. Donald was dearly loved and will be missed by his 3 dogs: Sandy, Rusty, and Shadow.
He attended the Altoona Restoration Church of God.
Friends will be received from 11am until the 1pm funeral service Monday, Dec. 6, 2021 in the Axe and Santella Family Chapel, 1534-4th St. Altoona. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
