Eleanor A. (Campanaro) Stevens, 75, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, after a severe automobile accident on June 20, 2014, in Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of Leonard and Carmella (Mancuso) Campanaro.
Surviving are her husband, Dean Stevens; a daughter, Dena Stevens of Altoona; three sons: Craig (Lisa) of Virginia Beach, Va., and fraternal twins, Ryan and Bret, both of Altoona; two grandchildren: Drake Anthony, who was born on her birthday and was her "pooch," and Kristen; two brothers: Dominick Campanaro of Reno, Nev., and Tony (Jan) in Florida; two sisters-in-law: Sally McFarland and Mary Grace Campanaro, both of Altoona; as well as nieces, nephews and many special friends.
Eleanor's passions in life were cooking, baking and taking care of her family and animals. She was also an excellent softball player and enjoyed playing softball with Jackie Roberts, as well as playing other sports, and she was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
